Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

PLS 2019
Sheema Kermani, cultural activist and practicing classical dancer, led a series of presentations at Michigan State University, the University of Chicago, and Monmouth College.

Naila Mahmood, visual artist, led a series of presentations at North Carolina University, Cornell University, and Brown University.
PLS 2014
Zahid Hussain, senior editor for Newsline Magazine, lectured at Sarah Lawrence College, Monmouth College, and the University of Texas at Austin.

Qasid Mallah, professor, led a series of presentations about archaeology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Annual Conference on South Asia, New York University, and Harvard University.
Naiza Khan, contemporary artist, led a series of presentations about art and landscape at Yale University, Cornell University, University of Texas at Austin, University of California-Berkeley, and the University of California-Los Angeles.
Sana Haroon, assistant professor, led a series of presentations at Stanford University, Richard Stockton College, University of Pennsylvania, and Villanova University. She presented her work, "Reconsidering the Legacies of the Early Nineteenth-Century Jihad of Sayyid Ahmed Shaheed."
Hassan Miangul Aurangzeb, barrister-at-law, gave a series of presentations at the Association for Asian Studies Meeting (Honolulu), University of Oregon, and the University of Washington-Seattle.
PLS 2010
Sultan-i-Rome, assistant professor, led a series of talks that provided a critical analysis of the situation in Swat, Malakand district, NWFP at the Association for Asian Studies Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, Richard Stockton College, University of North Carolina, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Washington, and the University of Oregon.
Imtiaz Gul, executive director of Center for Research and Security Studies, presented his work, "The Socio-economic cost of conflict to the people of Pakistan" at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Annual Conference on South Asia, University of Chicago, North Carolina State University, Duke University, and the World Affairs Council of New Hampshire.

Arif Hasan, professor, gave a series of presentations at SAIS-Johns Hopkins University, University of Oregon, and the University of Washington.
Imran Aslam, senior journalist, presented his work "Pakistan in Transition: The Role of the Media and its Potential."
Khalid Masud, chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology in Pakistan, led a series of presentations at the University of Michigan, University of California-Berkeley, North Carolina State University, and Duke University.
