Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Postdoctoral Fellow Positions at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)
The Gurmani Center for Language and Literature and the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) announces two Postdoctoral Fellow positions for Spring, 2018 semester (one semester only). Successful candidates will teach one course during the semester and will participate in the ongoing activities of the Gurmani Center and MGSHSS. Candidates should have their PhDs by December 31, 2017. We prefer candidates with an interdisciplinary focus, bringing together debates in the Humanities and the qualitative Social Sciences (Anthropology, History, Comparative Literature, Art History, Film Studies and other related disciplines). The salary range is between $1500-$2000 (based on experience) per month for the semester (January 15, 2017-June 1, 2017).
