Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

Dr. Mushtaq Bilal's article ""Yes, I am Joseph Bhatti Choohra:" Reading Joseph Bhatti as a Palimpsest" was recently published in the Pakistan issue of Angles: New Perspectives on the Anglophone World.
Dr. Bilal was also invited to present his paper, "Pakistani Literature Festivals and Scopaesthesiac Consciousness" at this year's annual conference of the American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA) held from 15-18 June. It was part of a seminar titled, "Multilingual, Transregional, Comparative Approaches to South Asian Literature," which was organized by Professors Ulka Anjaria and Sangeeta Ray.
