Foundation of SAARC Writers and Literature: Literary Wing of Academy of Fine Arts and Literature which has been active in Delhi since 1975 in the field of culture, visual and performing arts, literature and social justice through education and empowerment of poor marginalized women.
Hoshyar Foundation: Developed by AIPS Member Carla Petievich, Hoshyar is a non-profit entity dedicated to secular education for girls in Pakistan and other underserved parts of South Asia.
Human Development Foundation (HDF): The Foundation was formed in 1997 as the expatriate Pakistani American community's gift to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of the fiftieth (50th) anniversary of Pakistan's independence. The Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America (APPNA), the Society for International Health, Education and Literacy Programs (SIH) and the Noor Foundation cosponsored the Foundation. The Human Development Foundation of North America (HDF) is a not for profit organization "incorporated under the Illinois General Not for Profit Corporation Act of 1986." Activities include an oral history project, various development work, and very good research bibliographies as well.
International Union for the Conservation of Nature: After the formalization of the World Conservation Strategy in 1980, the Government of Pakistan requested IUCN to help develop a National Conservation Strategy (NCS). After a rather extensive process of, the NCS was eventually completed and approved by the Government of Pakistan in 1992. In 1982, an exploratory mission from the IUCN Headquarters laid the foundation for the IUCN Programme in Pakistan. In 1985, a one person IUCN Country Office was established in Karachi to initiate the implementation of the NCS. Since then IUCN Pakistan has grown into the largest country programme with five programme offices and a number of offices in the field.
UN Information Centre - Islamabad: The Centre is the focal point for disseminating information and raising awareness about the UN's activities to the people of Pakistan.
