AIPS has funds to support a collaborative workshop with a public university in Pakistan using the theme of deepening democratic values and emphasizing diversity, tolerance, and co-existence. The budget can fund travel for US-based scholars or can be used to assist a university in organizing a conference/workshop. This workshop must be collaborative.
In order to be eligible for these awards the applicant must be affiliated with an AIPS Institutional Member.
This award is funded through a grant from the Council of American Overseas Research Centers.
Submit a one-page proposal to AIPS that includes the following information:
- Title and theme of workshop
- Faculty member information from AIPS Member Institution (short bio or CV)
- Pakistani university, plus information on specific Pakistani faculty members involved in the workshop
- Workshop program/agenda
- Proposed workshop dates
- Proposed budget
- If the proposing institution is not an AIPS member, an application for AIPS Institutional Membership must be received and approved before an proposal can be submitted for this grant.
Awards range from $1000 to $5,500 (one award available).
