On December, 18, 2008 Dr. Cabeiri Robinson's gave a round table talk organized by AIPS-Islamabad at Quaid-i-Azam University. She spoke about "The teaching of Islam and Pakistan Studies in the USA."

On December 20, 2008 Dr. Mark Kenoyer visited Quaid-i-Azam University. AIPS organized a meeting for him with Anthroplogy students. Dr. Naveed-e-Rahat (Dean; Social Sciences) and other faculty members also participated in the roundtable discussion.
