This workshop, titled " Imaginging a Future of Pakistan Archaeology: Teaching Archaeology and the Postcolonial Critique, Community Based Practices, and Cultural Heritage Management," is the 3rd workshop in a three-part series on “Teaching Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management” that has been organized by Professor J. Mark Kenoyer of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Themes in this workshop include:
- teaching about politics and the past
- teaching about archaeology and the public
- teaching about art, community development and social change
- teaching world archaeology and global heritage.

This workshop is designed for the participants to have in depth discussions about the topics as well as pedagogical best practices for how to facilitate such discussions in their own classrooms. As the final workshop in the series, participants will also synthesize the teaching principles and practices that they have learned over the course of the three workshop series.

The AIPS Sponsored Workshop Series is funded by a grant from the US Embassy in Islamabad and is run in association with the Pakistan Inter-University Social Science Consortium (IUCPSS).
