By checking yes above, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the following: 1) AIPS can provide funding for conference travel for the presentation of papers or organization of panels that include topics relevant to Pakistan studies at scholarly conferences; 2) AIPS can provide up to $1,000 for travel to conferences within the United States, and up to $2,000 for international travel, which is dependent on available funds; 3) Due to federal travel restrictions, AIPS may not be able to provide funding for travel to Pakistan; 4) Due to limited funds, AIPS travel grants are capped to one per person per year with preference given to individuals who have not received a travel grant in the previous two years; 5) If your letter of invitation and advisor letter (for students only) were not available when completing this online form, please email these two items to aips@pakistanstudies-aips.org in a timely manner. A complete application for this travel grant consists of the following: a) A completed online form, b) Evidence of your paper having been accepted, c) AIPS individual membership in good standing, and d) Letter of support from a faculty advisor (for students only).
