Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

AIPS-OUPP Series

The American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS) and Oxford University Press (OUP), Pakistan, are happy to announce a collaborative reprint series! The series focuses on reprinting humanities and social science monographs and edited volumes for sale in Pakistan. Prospective applicants must be individual AIPS members or scholars from an AIPS member institution. For accepted books, AIPS will negotiate the cost for the Pakistan publication rights, while OUP, Pakistan, will print and distribute the titles in the series. Submissions will be accepted biannually with the first deadline on June 1st and another on December 1st. Applicants must contact AIPS to confirm eligibility prior to applying.
