Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

AIPS member receives US-Pakistan Exchange Fellowship by the Atlantic Council's South Asia Center
Yelena Biberman (Visiting Asst. Professor, Skidmore College) was awarded the US-Pakistan Exchange Fellowship by the Atlantic Council's South Asia Center, which supported her trip to Islamabad, Pakistan, in December 2014. She conducted research for her book on Pakistan’s security policy and met with political and cultural elites, including experts at the Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Quaid-i-Azam University, and the National Defense University. She also lectured at the National Police Academy in Islamabad.
