Dr. Kamran Asdar Ali, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Critical Pakistan Studies, was recently featured in a video where he presented his aspirations for Critical Pakistan Studies to be a high-standard, first-rate, and top-tier interdisciplinary source of information on Pakistan. Critical Pakistan Studies is a new open-access journal published with the support of Cambridge University Press that tackles broader interdisciplinary issues in addition to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

We invite all AIPS members and scholars interested in Pakistan Studies to attend!
AIPS is excited to announce that we are hosting our second Junior Scholars Conference on Pakistan, which will take place at the Madison Concourse Hotel on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 10:00am to 5:30pm. This conference showcases research being done by junior scholars in the field of Pakistan Studies in the United States. Conference participants were selected through a competitive application process. The conference is open to the public and no registration is required.
