The CCBC offers tools for teaching, learning and research related to children and young adult literature. They are a great resource for books published for children and young adult readers. Their resources are available to University students and faculty as well as the K-12 teachers, librarians and child care providers in Wisconsin.

The Federal Research Program of the Library of Congress publishes country studies and country profiles. You can download their Pakistan country profile (2005), which provides basic information on the historical, social, religious, political and economic background of Pakistan.

The South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC)

The SAARC is supported by the heads of state of the 7 countries that comprise South Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Their goal is to foster regional collaborations, positive relationships and understanding among the member countries, which have deep historical and cultural connections.
